Welcome to the Norman Lykes Residence, the very last home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. This unique Phoenix, Arizona home is 2,800 square feet and includes three bedrooms and three bathrooms, original design details, and a Mother of Pearl tiled pool. Wright's later design aesthetic can be seen in the organic circular shapes used throughout the entire structure. Rare Philippine Mahogany wall panels line the home's interior and furnishings include original Frank Lloyd Wright designs, like the Taliesin chair.
This home has more historical significance than most of the other Frank Lloyd Wright homes, but it is one of the least known as it has remained a private residence, never open to the public. The plot of land was handpicked by Wright and construction on the home began in 1959. Wright died before the design was finished.
