How a Holistic Approach to Compensation Helps Us Win and Retain Top Talent

As Matterport continues to grow exponentially, retaining our incredible Matterpeeps and promoting their quality of life has remained our top priority. Matterport’s generous compensation and benefits packages are just a few of the ways we are able to recruit and retain our talented team. 

That is why we are so excited to announce that Matterport has won our fourth award of the year, Best Compensation from Comparably, out of thousands of small/mid-size companies. Earlier this year, Matterport won two other Comparably Awards for Best Leadership Team and Best Company Outlook and we were recognized as one of Forbes 2021 America's Best Startup Employers.

What makes this particular award so meaningful to us is that results are determined based on ratings by the satisfaction of our own Matterpeeps. Comparably Awards are determined by anonymous sentiment ratings from employees who rated their workplace on Comparably within a 12-month period. The “Best Compensation” award was determined based on questions related to compensation such as if employees believe they are paid fairly, if they are satisfied with benefits, and how frequently bonuses and raises are granted.
