I am located in the beautiful Lion City, Singapore. I have dedicated 28 years in building a rewarding career in the ever-transforming IT Industry, taking on a spectrum of APAC, Country Sales (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines) & Business Development Leadership, and Sales Coach roles. I’ve had the chance to experience different working cultures with a set of Global IT Industry Leaders over the years and covering a culturally diverse APAC Region. With a passion for sales excellence and a chance to join Matterport 2.5 years ago, I officially embarked on an exciting career transition journey as APAC Sales Enablement Lead. With an avid interest in photography, visual art, interior designing and real estate, Matterport Digital Twin solutions and offerings continue to intrigue both the IT nerd and visual artist in me with its endless possibilities to contribute  to the building world!

What excites you most about your role?

What’s exciting about my role is that I get to work with the field sales, leadership, and cross functional teams to drive sales excellence, share my IT sales experiences through various global initiatives, and coach the sales team on the art of possible in selling Matterport. 

Tell us about your biggest accomplishment or favorite project at Matterport. What was it, were there any challenges, and how was it successful?

The Matterport Accelerate Program Live, part of the Accelerate Success Program, brought together Sales, extended sales teams, vertical subject matter experts, and senior leadership post-COVID. The goal was to reconnect and reinvigorate the team, enhancing their ability to sell Matterport’s solutions across key verticals. The program aimed to inspire a strategic shift in approaching target markets, driving broader and more impactful sales efforts. We initiated and test bedded in APAC as pilot, then rolled out to AMER & EMEA with the same blueprint. Although the program was first led by a small team, we had the support of the executive team and the larger global & local cross-functional teams to make the event possible, achieving a great event impact rating. It was challenging in all respects but we were able to overcome it with true Matterport mission control teamwork and spirit.

Are you involved in any programs such as EMERGE, Matterport Cares, ERGs, etc., if so why? What’s been a memorable experience?

I enjoy participating in Matterport Cares Week with the Singapore-based Asia-Pacific Team. This year we volunteered with an organization that takes under-privileged latchkey kids grocery shopping. 

Do you have a favorite digital twin or a twin that resonates with you?

I like the series in Kimbell Art Museum & art galleries such as this one:

I love virtually pacing through the art galleries, appreciating the visual art at my own time, any time, anywhere...
