Matterport arrives in Korea with first reseller partner

Dae Hyun Commercial Co., Ltd. brings Matterport products and services to Korea

We are very proud to announce and welcome our first channel partner in South Korea, Dae Hyun Commercial Co., Ltd. Over the past 30 years, the company has built relationships with many building facility managers across South Korea. Its expertise includes the operation of online shopping malls and being a nationwide offline dealer. Dae Hyun Commercial  employs  passionate specialists who are experts in camera sales ranging from industrial thermal scanners, 3D scanner Creaform to 360 cameras and canquickly demonstrate and provide 3D scanning and capturing service support.

The Matterport Pro2 combined witha Matterport SaaS license will help architecture, engineering and construction professionals, as well as residential and commercial real estate customers create, manage and share accurate and immersive  digital twins of properties. The company also plans to expand into art, culture, and retail spaces. The Pro2 saw significant growth across the country as the push for digitalization and innovation across industries accelerated as a result of the events of the past year. In addition to the Pro2, the company will resell the Insta360 X2, another Matterport-supported camera option.

Dae Hyun Commercial was established in 1990 by President Choi Won-Il who previously worked for Hanil Sangsa Co. from 1979 to 1989. The company has unique skills for a wide range of equipment including  demonstration, delivery, training, and after-service handling. Due to this, their sales record spans several decades, in which they have worked with various Korean companies, such as Samsung, LG, and Hyundai.

During the epidemic caused by COVID-19 last year, our company installed thermal imaging cameras in public institutions, hospitals, schools, and buildings across the country.
