Our Lady of Guadalupe in NYC

This Roman Catholic parish was established in 1868 for a congregation of Irish immigrants and was considered one of the most important Catholic churches in the city. The Gothic exterior architecture blends French and English influences and features two towers, a gable roof, recessed niches, and a large rose window. The church’s impressive nave is surrounded by marble columns topped with lancet arches, gilded gold trim work, an ornate vaulted ceiling, and numerous figurative stained glass windows, including at least one Tiffany window.
