Q: What inspired the 3D capture of this space?
In terms of culture, Florida is a state with a lot to offer. It’s a terrific spot for anyone who likes variety, from the sunny beaches and stunning wildlife to the food and history. My inspiration to capture this specific space came from my great deal of respect for the Estefans. I admire not only their talent as musicians but also their efforts in creating venues that have been making our state even more enjoyable for decades!
Estefan Kitchen opened in December 2019 — just before the COVID-19 pandemic. I was fortunate enough to be invited to the grand opening. As soon as I walked into Estefan Kitchen, it was love at first sight. I knew the moment I walked in the door that this would be a fantastic location to capture with my Matterport Pro 2 camera. It truly was a great opportunity to capture this stunning location. As a result, guests can now immerse themselves virtually inside this beautiful new space using the 3D virtual tour.
Q: What are the “must-sees” you want visitors to explore and why?
Estefan Kitchen Restaurant is a great place to dine and have a good time. It's classy, elegant, and charming — just what you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. I wanted anyone who couldn't get inside this magnificent establishment to have a sense of how it looks on the inside.
The tour is interactive, and it includes all of the fantastic tools that Matterport software provides, such as Mattertags with links to shopping items, YouTube videos integrated, menus, and more. The public's reaction to the restaurant's 3D tour was really enthusiastic, and truthfully, the place looked so stunning when I viewed the 3D tour that I had to nominate it.
As they say on the menu, "Estefan Kitchen Restaurant is not just another place to eat." It's more than just about the food; it's an experience.
Q: What’s the one thing you want visitors to take away after exploring your 3D tour?
I believe virtual reality is the future of marketing. It's engaging, it's creative, and it can make your business stand out from the rest. 3D virtual tours are a great way to attract customers to your restaurant. These tours will help potential customers see exactly what you have to offer without having to leave home or even get dressed! I want customers to feel inspired to visit in person.
Customers who are interested in seeing more about the interior of a restaurant are also able to navigate through several different rooms with their smartphones or other devices without ever having to step foot inside. I want to create a 3D virtual tour for restaurant owners that will inspire them and their potential customers.
Q: What are the benefits of your Matterport digital twin?
The benefits of a Matterport digital twin are endless. A Matterport 3D Showcase is the most effective way to market your business because it allows people to explore your space virtually before they even step foot in your space.
The virtual tour can be used for marketing purposes on websites, social media platforms, and email marketing campaigns. Additionally, when potential customers visit your website they’re able to learn more about what makes you stand out from other competitors in the area. This gives them confidence in their decision when they do decide to go with you over someone else.
Q: Do you have any plans to capture more 3D experiences?
I am working on many projects, including the famous R9 Ronaldo Academy in Orlando, a new food truck area, and more.
Q: Anything else you would like to add?
Just working with Matterport has given me an entirely new career. I like every moment I spend capturing spaces, and it's wonderful to be able to carry my own work wherever life takes me!
