David hires a local Matterport Capture Technician whenever he needs a property scanned. Once the 3D capture is completed, the virtual tour is up and running on the website within 72 hours. 

Using Mattertags, David and his team highlight key features and amenities of a property like granite countertops, sub-zero refrigerators or jacuzzi tubs. The 3D tour enables agents to better showcase properties and call out what’s extra-special at these properties. And, the ability to quickly share 3D tours on social media results in homes selling within days. This has spurred agents from other companies to take notice and study how Chervenic Realty is implementing Matterport so they can do it themselves.

Saving time and speeding up occupancy of student rentals 

Chervenic Realty also helped market rentals for students attending college. Landlords were spending a tremendous amount of time showing rental units. Often, four or five different students would look at the same unit as roommates, then they’d need to show the unit to their respective parents. It was such a time-consuming process, landlords asked them to create 3D tours of apartments so students could easily share the tour with their roommates and parents, streamlining the showing process and cutting down the number of in-person showings for all parties.

After seeing such great success with student rentals, Chervenic Realty went to Kent State University about referring its students. When the university saw the technology, it wanted to go beyond just rentals and create 3D tours of different parts of the campus so that incoming students could tour remotely. There’s been an extraordinary uptick in website traffic and referrals from students for Chervenic Realty.
