Hello Matterporters! For the last few years, I’ve greeted you in a video
or webinar with training content to help you not only grasp the full potential of Matterport, but also better understand how each and every new tool is used. We’ve been working hard to put out a great deal of new content and are excited to announce the completion of a massive overhaul of 12 Pro2 training videos. We also created playlists for our iPhone, Insta360, Ricoh and LeicaBLK training and added how-tos for each of the tools in Workshop. These, and many other videos, have been organized and categorized on our new Matterport Academy page so that you can easily find, watch, and learn everything from connecting and scanning to editing and publishing a Matterport 3D digital twin of any space.
As you know, the Matterport platform is an all-in-one solution to capture and digitize the built world. The capture process builds the foundation for your model and, therefore, we took a lot of time to guide you through a successful scanning process. I couldn’t be more excited about the work being done to provide you with the most accurate and
relevant instructional content. If you haven’t already visited Matterport Academy, I highly encourage you to do so. There is a tremendous amount of information available and much more to come. It’s all categorized and tagged, making it easy to filter and find the videos relevant to your camera and how to capture, upload, customize and publish your Matterport digital twins.
Now that the foundational training is built, we want to build future content based on what you need. Here’s a link to a short form you can use to ASK US ANYTHING. We’ll compile the answers to create and publish a series of videos to further inform and educate you and the Matterport community. I’m very excited to continue producing the most informative and helpful instruction to optimize your Matterport experience.
