Get to know our new Vice President of Global Product Marketing

Ali (Wiezbowski) Jayson

We are delighted to announce the latest member to join the Matterport family: Ali (Wiezbowski) Jayson has joined us as our new Vice President of Product & Solution Marketing.

Ali has come to us from Peloton where, as Director of Global Product Marketing, she was responsible for the Peloton Bike’s customer acquisition and member engagement, pushing the company’s growth into the future. Her work at Peloton saw her named one of the industry’s Top Product Marketing Influencers by Product Marketing Alliance in 2021.

Prior to working at Peloton, Ali served as Uber’s Global Head of Product Marketing, Earner Engagement. She helped transform Uber’s driver retention strategy, and also focused on changing the public narrative. While there, she also created Uber’s College Opportunity Program, which provides free college, entrepreneurship, and English language education to drivers and their families.

Ali’s amazing career has also seen her found two companies of her own, as well as manage Microsoft’s emerging media investments. Her work has been recognized by Forbes, CNN, and Fast Company, so she’s certainly familiar with the limelight when it comes to her marketing achievements.

Her childhood dreams of becoming an architect didn’t last into adulthood, as Ali graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a dual-degree in Communications and Visual Studies. Her thesis was on Second Life, showing an early interest in the potential of virtual worlds. She continues to be fascinated and excited by the ever-broadening realms of digital media and what we can and will do within them. We’re sure the capabilities and potential of Matterport digital twins are going to keep that interest alive for a long time to come, Ali!

As a San Francisco native, Ali loves being in cities, which is why she and her husband spent most of 2021 traveling to a variety of areas across the country to experience what places around the U.S. have to offer. From New York City and South Florida, right across to Laguna Beach — by way of Salt Lake City, Nashville and Chicago — they got to experience different places and meet people from all over the country.

All that traveling and moving has meant that Ali’s got first hand experience of the trials and tribulations faced by home renters wanting to see potential properties without the help of virtual tours, giving her a true understanding of the power and effectiveness of the Matterport digital twin.

It turns out that this immersive method of city hopping accurately reflects Ali’s ethos when it comes to marketing too. She firmly believes that in order to deliver what customers want you need to really get to know them. We won’t be surprised to find her attending focus groups and engaging directly with our audiences.

We’re looking forward to seeing what Ali will bring to our team, driving campaigns, developing exciting launch experiences, and making Matterport’s amazing technologies come to life for our customers.
