Drawn to the vibrancy of this stately and dramatic location, we reached out to Alexander Eason, the commercial director for Scene3D LTD to gain further insight into the digital recreation of the Victorian Bath House.

What inspired the 3D capture of this space?

Camm & Hooper specialize in turning unused buildings across London into unique event spaces. The Victorian Bath House is one of Camm & Hooper’s most historic venues, dating all the way back to 1817. Now a Grade II listed building, Victorian Bath House has an ornate entrance at the ground level that leads down to an opulent subterranean space that can host up to 150 guests. 

The team at Camm & Hooper wanted to showcase the space to potential clients in a user-friendly and COVID-safe way and so they partnered with Scene3D to produce a dimensionally accurate, photorealistic Matterport 3D virtual tour of Victorian Bath House. 

What are the “must-sees” you want visitors to explore and why?

We want virtual visitors to explore the interior of Victorian Bath House which maintains the grand vision of architect G. Harold Elphick’s Turkish bath house. It’s filled with Arabic motifs and outlandish tiles and the decanter wall in the lounge is impressive. Visitors should leave the space with an appreciation for the stunning interior of this unique venue.

Being able to explore the space and plan their event remotely is an enormous benefit of this digital twin.
