Matterport Academy Aims To Empower Customers
New educational videos to help maximize their investment in Matterport
For a decade, Matterport has been pushing the boundaries of spatial computing and data, while constantly looking for ways to add more innovation, value, and usability to our platform. As we push the boundaries of what’s possible with 3D and digital twin technology, we believe that we need to enable our customers to use our platform to its fullest potential. Our customers are what matters most and giving them the tools and insights into how to maximize usage of Matterport is what will give them the most value in partnering with us, creating a win-win for everyone.
This is why I’m excited to announce the launch of Matterport Academy, a collection of how-to’s, guides, and tutorials, to help you leverage everything the Matterport platform has to offer.
Over the past year, customers across the globe have shown us amazingly innovative ways to use our platform. At a time, when buildings across the globe were shuttered and inaccessible due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our fearless customers pressed on with Matterport in tow to keep businesses, schools, factories, museums, galleries, shops, and real estate open. While in-person walkthroughs were halted, houses were bought and sold sight unseen through the utilization of 3D virtual tours. Brick and mortar retail stores pivoted to immersive virtual shopping experiences when safety restrictions caused a reduction in shoppers. Institutions and museums remained open to the public by displaying their artfully curated exhibits virtually. None of that would have happened if it weren’t for our customers. They kept entire industries alive during the most harrowing times of our generation and for that, we want to pledge our continued dedication to them.
We are committed to putting our customers first - at the heart of every decision we make. The Matterport Academy collection was created with them in mind.
