Gibson Mansion

Explore This! Make yourself at home at Gibson Mansion, a turn of the century Victorian estate located in Missoula, Montana. Built by A.J. Gibson in 1903 for Swedish immigrant and pharmacist, Gustav Peterson who spent 22 years in the home before selling it. A.J. Gibson is one of the most noted architects in Montana history, designing over 150 buildings in his life, including Missoula County Courthouse and Main Hall at the University of Montana. The mansion has held a variety of residents and purposes in its life including a sorority, a fraternity, and apartments. In 2001, the Gibson Mansion became what it is today — a delightful bed and breakfast that has been exquisitely restored to the home's original beauty. The owners of the B&B have decorated the property for the holidays, offering a warm winter welcome to their guests.
